Job summary

DLB Associates is expanding its energy storage engineering services and seeks a Senior Power Engineer – Energy Storage to lead the engineering delivery of BESS and IBR interconnections across utility, data center, and industrial markets. The role blends hands-on design with client-facing responsibilities and independent project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering preferred.
10+ years in energy storage or power systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead design and interconnection of BESS, microgrids and IBR systems.
Perform protection, relay coordination and studies (IEEE 1584/519).
Coordinate LGIA/SGIA with utilities and developers.
Prepare design documents, drawings and permit-ready packages.
Support remote project delivery and client communication.
