Job summary

DLB Associates is expanding its energy storage engineering practice and seeks a Power Engineer – Energy Storage. You will deliver engineering for Battery Energy Storage Systems, microgrids, and inverter-based resources from concept to energization, coordinating with clients, utilities, and partners.

This role combines hands-on engineering with design, analysis, and risk management, requiring independence and strong communication in a remote U.S. setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and PE license required.
5+ years in energy storage or power systems with P&C focus.
Experience with BESS, microgrid, and IBR interconnections.
Knowledge of LGIA/SGIA and utility interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering delivery of BESS, microgrid, and IBR interconnections.
Perform design, analyses, and studies for HV energy storage systems.
Coordinate with utilities, developers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Prepare technical drawings, specs, and engineering deliverables.
Support project execution, documentation, and client interfacing.
