Job summary
DLB Associates is expanding its energy storage engineering services and seeks a Senior Power Engineer – Energy Storage to lead and deliver Battery Energy Storage System projects, microgrids, and inverter‑based resource interconnections across utility, data center, and industrial markets.
This role blends hands‑on engineering with client liaison, working remotely within the United States to support design, analysis, and protection philosophy, while guiding project teams and ensuring code
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license.
- 5+ years in energy storage, power systems engineering or related field.
- Experience with BESS, microgrids, and IBR interconnections.
- Strong knowledge of protection & control design and utility interconnections.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis for BESS, microgrid and IBR interconnections.
- Develop protection schemes and interconnection studies per standards.
- Coordinate with utilities, developers and clients to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide commissioning support and field troubleshooting when required.
