Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking an experienced energy professional to manage clean and renewable energy contracts and carbon reduction contracts across construction, development, and operation phases. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status, amend contracts, and ensure terms related to cost, RECs and performance are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in energy contract management, energy project development, or energy operations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and developing partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd party vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale market data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts, ensuring REC, cost and performance alignment.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure and other issues.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
