Job summary

Meta's Global Energy Team seeks an experienced energy professional to manage clean and renewable energy contracts as well as carbon reduction contracts through construction, development, and operations. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status and performance, and coordinate amendments and data management.

Key duties include ownership of operational renewable energy contract requirements, tracking documents, ensuring REC/cost alignment, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in energy contract management, energy project development, or energy operations.
• Experience managing renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and developing partnerships with suppliers.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.
• Experience in building cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd party Vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts; ensure RECs, costs and performance align with terms.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure, and other issues.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
