Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team seeks an experienced energy professional to manage a portfolio of renewable energy and carbon-reduction contracts across construction, development, and operations. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status, and coordinate amendments with legal, finance and procurement.

You will analyze energy generation data, RECs, and costs, ensuring terms are met and performance targets are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in energy contract management or energy operations.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
  • Experience drafting official correspondence and maintaining partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

  • Own all of Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
  • Create, maintain, update and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
  • Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
  • Review invoicing and reporting for renewable energy project contracts to ensure RECs, costs and performance align with terms.
  • Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure and other issues.
  • Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
  • Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable and other key stakeholders.
