Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking an experienced Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee renewable energy and carbon-reduction contracts across construction, development, and operational phases. You will ensure contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status, and drive performance metrics.

Responsibilities include coordinating with legal, finance, procurement, and operations, tracking data and documents, and managing amendments and invoicing to optimize value and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years in energy contract management, energy project development, or energy operations.
• Experience managing renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and building partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd Party Vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale energy market data.

Responsibilities

• Own Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain and track documents and data for renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting for project contracts ensuring RECs and costs comply with terms.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments and issues.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
