Job summary

Meta's Global Energy Team is seeking an experienced energy professional to manage clean and renewable energy contracts across construction, development, and operating phases. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project status, and enforce terms related to cost, RECs, and performance.

The role requires strong data analysis, cross-functional coordination with legal, finance, and suppliers, and a track record in managing portfolios of renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years of energy contract management, energy project development, or energy operations experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy projects and measuring performance metrics.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and building partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and managing 3rd party vendors.
• Experience analyzing energy generation data, virtual PPAs, green tariffs, and wholesale market data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ongoing owner for all operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting to ensure RECs, costs and performance are consistent with contract terms.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments and other issues.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, accounts payable/receivable and other stakeholders.
