Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our Energy & Resources team in Chandler, AZ. The role develops and maintains schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction to drive project execution.

You'll advise project managers, identify risks, and support decision-making through schedule analysis, baseline management, and progress reporting. A strong background in CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large projects.
• Experience in Energy & Resources sectors (mining, power, renewables, or infrastructure).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated project schedules from concept through closeout.
• Develop EPC/PMC schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish schedule logic, milestones, and critical paths.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineering, procurement, construction, and vendors.
• Support EVM, progress reporting, and risk assessment.
• Mentor junior planners and promote scheduling best practices.
