The candidate will develop detailed schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project, monitor progress, identify risks, and prepare status reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in project scheduling or a related project-controls role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of state/federal background check and drug screening.
  • Experience in cost planning and project-controls reporting interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor project progress, analyze trends, and identify critical-path bottlenecks.
  • Identify risks, communicate them clearly to all stakeholders, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Prepare status presentations highlighting accomplishments, risks, and changes.
  • Generate custom reports (look-ahead, variance, progress, milestone) to facilitate discussions.
  • Support project managers and project-controls managers, including field coordination and sub-project management.
  • Track deliverables and monitor physical percent complete by installed quantities.
  • Optimize processes for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including document filing.
  • Foster ongoing learning by seeking functional knowledge and developing technical expertise.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and company objectives.
