Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Senior Planner / Scheduler for our Energy & Resources team in Chandler, AZ. You will develop integrated project schedules across EPC lifecycle, lead scheduling strategies, and partner with PMs, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to keep projects on track.

Key focus areas include Primavera P6 scheduling, CPM analysis, earned value alignment, and schedule risk management, with mentorship for junior planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience on large projects.
• Experience with Energy & Resources, mining, power, renewables, or major infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated project schedules from concept through closeout.
• Develop schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Establish baseline schedules, critical paths, milestones and resource needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Maintain schedules, perform critical path and performance analyses.
• Support earned value management, forecasting, and reporting.
