Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in project controls scheduling, preferably in energy/oil & gas/heavy industrial construction.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (EPPM and Professional).
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling techniques and best practices.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex schedules for multi‑million dollar projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) is a plus.
• PMP or PMI‑SP certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules (CPM and P6) for large‑scale energy projects from initiation through closeout.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather schedule data, define WBS, and identify critical path activities.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, and what‑if scenarios to identify delays and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and track progress against baselines, report variances, and develop recovery plans.
• Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, progress updates, and dashboards to project teams and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to scheduling standards, policies, and best practices.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide training to junior staff as required.
• Integrate schedule data with cost control systems for holistic project performance.
• Support change management by evaluating schedule impacts of change orders and incorporating changes.
• Assist in development of close-out schedules and documentation.
