Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Texas. The role focuses on developing and maintaining CPM schedules using Primavera P6 across design and construction phases, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable forecasts and control of project timelines.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of CPM scheduling experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and a solid understanding of cost/resource loading and baseline establishment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera.
• Power Generation/Gas turbine generation experience is required.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles.
• Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules.
• Experience with contract change order management.
• Experience performing Time Impact Analyses.
• Project financial forecasting capability.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases.
• Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects.
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities.
• Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles.
• Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances.
• Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership.
• Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion.
• Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects.
• Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews.
• Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.
