ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Business Development professional to drive sales of retail energy products to Commercial and Industrial customers in the PJM region. This role supports hybrid/remote work and requires collaboration with the Regional VP of Sales.

You will prospect, build a robust pipeline, and coordinate between Legal, Credit, Supply, and Operations to close transactions, while aligning with regional strategies and key account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/marketing or related field.
• Sales experience in the retail energy sector with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong negotiation skills for high-stakes discussions.
• Self-driven and quick to learn new products, processes and systems.
• Experience engaging with executive-level decision-makers.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and acquire new C&I customers within the PJM region (IL, OH, PA, NJ & MD).
• Establish direct/indirect relationships to build a book of business and meet/exceed goals.
• Develop sales plans and coordinate with regional managers to maximize regional business.
• Leverage market knowledge to identify differentiators and tailor offerings.
• Assess customer needs and propose energy solutions to meet them.
• Analyze proposals for apples-to-apples comparisons across regions.
• Coordinate internal processes (Legal, Credit, Supply, BControls, Ops) to close deals.
• Collaborate with Key Account team on transactions involving major customers.
