Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Advisor (Energy Manager / Outreach Engineer) to join our team in Northern IL. You will serve as a senior strategic and technical advisor to commercial and industrial customers, helping identify, prioritize, and advance high-value energy efficiency and facility optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in energy efficiency consulting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial/commercial facilities and energy-saving technologies.
• Experience with utility energy efficiency programs.
• Ability to influence decisions via consultative selling.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and manage program growth.
• Deliver data-driven energy recommendations and plans.
• Develop Energy Management Action Plans for customers.
• Navigate stakeholders to secure project approvals and funding.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to develop solutions for complex systems.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline, and manage project forecasts.
