Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Advisor (Energy Manager / Outreach Engineer) to join our Illinois team. You will lead strategic energy management efforts for commercial and industrial clients, identifying efficiency opportunities and guiding projects from assessment through implementation.

In this senior, consultative role, you will leverage data analytics, build strong stakeholder relationships, and navigate complex organizations to deliver measurable energy savings and business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of energy efficiency consulting, technical sales, or facility optimization experience.
Strong understanding of industrial/commercial facilities and energy-saving technologies.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior strategic and technical advisor to commercial and industrial customers.
Lead customers through full project lifecycle from opportunity identification to implementation.
Develop and manage Energy Management Action Plans and living roadmaps.
Identify and qualify energy efficiency opportunities and articulate their business case.
Collaborate with engineering specialists to develop solutions for complex systems.
Maintain CRM data, manage pipelines, and drive project adoption.
