Job summary

Foundation Medicine is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to advise leaders, managers, and staff on complex ER matters, workplace investigations, performance management, and organizational change. You will manage sensitive cases from intake to resolution, uphold confidentiality, and ensure legally compliant practices.

You will partner with Employment Counsel and the People Team to mitigate risk, develop policies, train managers, analyze trends, and support workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience including 5+ years working on complex employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ER contact for complex matters and manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Conduct prompt, objective workplace investigations and maintain case records.
• Advise on risk mitigation, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Develop and implement ER strategies aligned with business objectives and policies.
• Deliver ER training, guidance materials, and manager resources.
