Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to guide and support employee relations across the organization. You will work with leaders, HR, and Legal to deliver consistent, equitable employee experiences and manage multiple investigations in a fast-changing environment.

The role emphasizes conducting thorough investigations, policy interpretation, and proactive trend analysis to address opportunities and improve engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or a related discipline with 4 years’ related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Direct experience handling all aspects of employee relations issues, including intake, review and resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of workplace investigations, union avoidance, and state and federal employment laws.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and build credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee relations expert, providing guidance on employee concerns and conducting investigations, advising leaders and guiding change.
• Perform and document investigations and matters according to Employee Relations processes and guidelines.
• Partner with Employee Relations, People Leaders, HR Business Partners and Legal to resolve inquiries and investigations in line with company values.
• Champion compliance by interpreting policies, ensuring consistent application and educating stakeholders.
• Own assigned employee relations cases in the case management system and/or Ethics Hotline, documenting findings.
• Analyze and track employee relations trends to identify opportunities and improve engagement.
• Promote a positive employee relations climate and enable prompt issue resolution.
• Assist with information gathering for legal complaints and charges.
