Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to guide and investigate employee relations matters across the organization. The role collaborates with HR, Legal, and leadership to ensure fair, consistent handling of concerns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include investigations, policy interpretation, and data-driven trend analysis to improve employee experience. Travel up to 25% and remote work flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or related field with 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience handling all aspects of employee relations issues, including investigations.
• Advanced knowledge of workplace investigations, union avoidance, and employment laws.
• Ability to influence and communicate with leaders at all levels.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for investigations.
• Ability to work remotely with periodic travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee relations expert, guiding concerns and conducting investigations.
• Perform and document investigations per ER team guidelines.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and other departments to resolve inquiries aligned with company values.
• Interpret policies, ensure consistent application, educate stakeholders.
• Own cases in case management system and Ethics Hotline, document findings.
• Analyze trends to identify opportunities and improve engagement.
• Promote a positive ER climate and provide prompt issue resolution.
