Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner in Kentucky to provide tactical HR consultation to managers and employees, resolving issues, advising on investigations, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.

Analyze data to spot trends and reduce legal risk while guiding stakeholders across COEs and legal teams. You will manage investigations in ServiceNow/Navex, support performance management, and navigate union agreements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.
• Five years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Intermediate).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and conducting timely investigations.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
