Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR guidance to managers and employees, handling investigations and resolution of workplace concerns in compliance with laws and policies. The role emphasizes impartiality and proactive risk mitigation.

You will collaborate with Operational Management, HRBPs, Labor Relations and Legal teams, manage case workflows in ServiceNow/Navex, and support performance management while ensuring regulatory adherence across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in HR roles.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans, conducting fair, neutral investigations in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide supervisors and managers with policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal Teams and other SMEs to create solutions to complex Employee Relations situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, mitigating risk in legal compliance, administration of relevant clauses/provisions within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable), employee communication, and collaboration with COEs.
• Travel to company sites within supported region.
