Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to provide confidential HR guidance to managers and staff, focusing on investigations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. You will collaborate with Legal, Labor Relations, and COEs to mitigate risk and ensure compliant outcomes.

The role involves analyzing data trends, supporting performance management, and traveling to supported sites as needed. A Bachelor's in HR or related field plus 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, organizational management, law, or equivalent; or four additional years of experience.
• Five years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Intermediate).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR investigations with neutral, timely handling and oversee case management systems.
• Provide supervisors/managers with policy interpretation for conflict resolutions, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operations, Labor Relations, Legal, and other SMEs to resolve complex Employee Relations situations.
• Support high-quality HR services including performance management and compliance with relevant clauses in union agreements.
