Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to consult with managers and employees, resolve conflicts, and conduct HR investigations across the business. You will analyze data to identify trends and advise leaders on risk mitigation and policy interpretation.

The role emphasizes compliance with federal/state laws, collaboration with Legal and HR teams, and delivering high-quality HR support, including performance management and union-related provisions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.
• Five years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in local HR investigations, developing plans and conducting fair, neutral investigations per policies and laws.
• Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex case management systems.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors on conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Collaborate with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal teams to craft solutions for complex Employee Relations cases.
