Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to advise leaders and HR partners on performance, conduct, and employment decisions across a large, dispersed organization in the United States. You will assess risks, provide practical solutions, and help shape ER policies.

You will partner with Legal, Investigations, and HRBPs to ensure compliant actions, guide leaders through difficult conversations, and drive continuous improvement in employee relations tools and data usage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, including performance management, workplace conduct, corrective actions, and separations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations in a large, complex, or geographically dispersed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, navigate ambiguous situations, critically evaluate information, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills to guide leaders toward decisions.
• Experience using case management systems, reporting tools, and data to identify trends and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employee relations matters from intake to resolution, including performance concerns, workplace conduct, disciplinary actions, concerns, and separations.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance management, leader coaching, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Coach leaders on effective performance management and difficult conversations.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations, HRBPs, and stakeholders to address sensitive matters and ensure policy alignment.
• Support ER activities related to organizational changes, restructures, and workforce reductions.
• Identify ER trends and opportunities to strengthen consistency and reduce risk.
• Contribute to tools, templates, and processes leveraging technology and data for efficiency.
