Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to advise business leaders and HR partners on employee relations with a focus on fair and compliant workplace practices. You will independently handle ER matters from intake through resolution, including performance concerns, conduct issues, and separations, while partnering with Legal and HRBPs to ensure consistent policy application.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, including hands-on ER matters.
• Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR policies.
• Experience supporting ER in large, complex organizations.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle sensitive situations.
• Strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience collaborating with HRBPs, Legal, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employee relations matters from intake to resolution, including performance concerns and separations.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Coach leaders on difficult conversations and appropriate actions.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations, HRBPs and others to address sensitive matters.
• Support ER activities during organizational changes and restructures.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve ER processes and risk management.
• Help develop ER tools, templates, and data-driven processes.
