Job summary

The Standard in the United States is seeking a Sr. Employee Benefits Consultant to drive top-line premium growth, case counts and broker recruitment within DC, MD and VA.

You will work with national and local partners to educate, motivate and deliver profitable growth across Workplace Group, Individual and non-insurance products. The ideal candidate has 5+ years selling voluntary benefits, a bachelor’s degree, and Life & health licensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling voluntary benefits.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Life & health licensing required or to obtain on hire.
• Must reside within the territory (DC, MD, VA) and be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build consulting relationships with broker partners, general agents and enrollment firms.
• Consult with producers to add value and develop new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities and acquire new logos in the market; meet production plans.
• Be SME on enrollment technology and product solutions for client companies.
• Provide training and ongoing development to producers and agencies.
