Job summary

HEPCO Inc. in Maple Grove, MN seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support munitions software development. You will design, develop, integrate and test embedded software with C++ in RTOS or bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture, unit testing, and hardware/software integration, plus software safety, cybersecurity, and EVMS-related duties. Eligible for a Secret security clearance; health insurance and 401k offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or higher degrees with fewer years.
Strong object-oriented design and embedded C++ development experience.
Experience with real-time applications in RTOS or bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for munitions programs.
Develop object-oriented software using C++ in RTOS and/or bare-metal environments.
Coordinate software safety, cybersecurity, configuration management and QA activities.
Review requirements and designs for alignment with customer and system-level requirements.
Prepare for SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and customer technical reviews.
