Job summary

You will lead staff, ensure compliant eligibility determinations for public assistance, and partner with management and contractors to deliver client services.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a supervisory lead or in a similar lead role.
• Experience applying program requirements while working with client customers in stressful situations.
• Substitution: post-secondary education may substitute for required experience (credits translate to months).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and operations of a unit that determines eligibility and authorizes benefits for recipients of public and family assistance programs.
• Serve as the unit policy expert and primary contact with other units, management, and contractor service providers.
• Use independent judgment and initiative to ensure the effective delivery of client services.
