Qualifications

• One year of entry level experience as an Eligibility Technician 1 with the State of Alaska or equivalent.
• Experience applying program requirements and working with clients under stress.
• Substitution: relevant coursework may substitute for some experience per policy.

Responsibilities

• Determine program eligibility by evaluating financial, medical, and household information.
• Communicate eligibility determinations and benefits clearly to clients, in person or remotely.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and system enhancements to support public assistance.
• Maintain accurate case records within required timeframes.
