Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee elevator installation projects from award to handover. You will coordinate sales, field operations, and billing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery per contract documents.

The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, strong communication, and the ability to read structural drawings. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of projects on schedule and within budget while meeting safety standards and customer expectations.
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and uphold Otis Absolutes.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to handover and financial close.
• Work with sales and field operations to ensure installation aligns with contract scope.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, managers, architects and authorities about design and scheduling.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes from financial and customer perspectives.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, change orders, and receivables to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contract documents and modifications to determine cost implications.
• Read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
