Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager in Boise, ID to oversee coordination of new equipment installations. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, safety standards, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires high-level collaboration with contractors, owners, and authorities while managing contracts and payments. The ideal candidate has five or more years in project management/construction, strong MS software skills, and the ability to lead

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion of elevator/escalator installation.
• Provide progress reviews to ensure documents align with project scope.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, and authorities.
• Work with internal sales staff, construction superintendents, and senior leadership for project success.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret construction documents and contract modifications for cost implications.
• Read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
