Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a Modernization Project Manager to oversee multiple installation projects in Los Angeles. You will drive on-time, on-budget delivery while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate contracts, payments, RFIs, and change orders, and collaborate with sales, field teams, and leadership. The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, strong communication, reading drawings, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder relationships.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft software in technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to completion and provide progress reviews.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, managers, architects and authorities.
• Work with sales, superintendents, and leadership to balance financial and customer goals.
• Manage billing, payments to consultants/contractors, RFIs and change orders.
• Interpret contracting documents and cost changes accurately.
• Analyze situations and help develop contingencies for estimates.
