Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager for our Las Vegas installations. You will coordinate activities across multiple projects, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 4+ years in elevator project management or construction, plus expertise in cost estimating, contract administration, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meets all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations
• Coordinate all contract activities from the project award stage to completion and provide a progress review of projects to ensure documents align with scope
• Proactively communicate with client representatives including general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and designers, authorities, and regulatory agencies regarding project design and scheduling
• Work closely with internal sales staff, superintendents, and senior leadership to ensure a successful project from financial and customer perspectives
• Candidates will perform contract writing & administration, manage billing, payments, RFIs, and optimize change orders to maximize cash flow
• Accurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost of changes
• Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates
