Otis Worldwide Corporation in Lombard, IL is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple new equipment installations. You will ensure projects run on schedule, within budget, and meet safety, regulatory, and customer expectations.

The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, strong cost estimating and contract administration skills, and the ability to read architectural drawings. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in elevator project management or construction
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry preferred
• Familiar with cost estimating, scheduling & contract administration
• Ability to read architectural/structural drawings
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/construction mgmt or related experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-schedule, within-budget project execution meeting safety and regulatory standards
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis Absolutes
• Coordinate contract activities from award to handover and close
• Work with sales and field ops to meet scope
• Provide progress updates to leadership
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, managers, architects and authorities
• Manage billing, owner/contractor payments, RFIs, change orders to maximize cash flow
• Interpret contract documents and changes for cost
• Read and review architectural/structural drawings
• Develop contingencies for estimates as needed
