Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Lombard, IL is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to coordinate activities on multiple new equipment installation projects, ensuring on-schedule delivery, budget control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

You will work with sales and field operations to complete installations, provide progress updates to leadership, manage contracts from award to close, review drawings, handle RFIs and change orders, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator project management or construction experience.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry preferred.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget project execution with safety/regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to close and financials.
• Work with sales and field ops to complete installations per scope.
• Provide progress updates to branch, regional and senior leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, managers, architects and authorities.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, change orders, and cash flow.
