Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead rapid development and scale manufacturing of advanced defense hardware. The EagleEye team owns the manufacturing value chain, from tooling design to final assembly, in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.

The role requires 8+ years in electromechanical hardware, hands-on fabrication experience, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware
Proven leadership in a small team
Experience turning prototypes into high-volume production

Responsibilities

Leverage NPI expertise to transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production
Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to feedback Design For Manufacturability
Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for a product or set of products
Develop novel tooling and fixturing solutions for assembly and test
Develop process flows, breaking down large assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes
Write work instructions, quality plans and inspection requirements for scale manufacturing
Work hands-on with technicians and other engineers building prototype hardware
Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects and board fabrication
