Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Eagle Eye program to own the manufacturing value chain from prototyping to high-volume production. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
• Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc. (personal or extracurricular projects are a plus).
• Familiarity with MES, test executive software.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Leverage NPI expertise to transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement semi and fully automated solutions for electromechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering early to feedback on manufacturability.
• Own the manufacturing value chain for EagleEye systems.
• Develop tooling and fixturing for assembly, quality, and test.
• Create process flows by breaking down assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
• Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
• Hands-on work with technicians and engineers building prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical/electrical design, interconnects, board fabrication and inspection.
