Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to serve as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC, and other mission-critical facilities. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through the IT load while providing technical direction, independent review, client guidance, and mentorship.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 15–20+ years in electrical engineering with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Advanced expertise in MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and related systems.
• Experience with ETAP/SKM/EasyPower for power studies.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead electrical architecture from utility interconnection to IT load.
• Provide senior leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, transformers, UPS systems and related components.
• Review load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc-flash, and related studies.
• Govern design packages and oversee project delivery from concept to turnover; support RFIs and field changes.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and integration testing of critical power infrastructure.
• Lead client workshops, design reviews, and technical proposals; mentor engineers.
