Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction programs in Texas, ensuring on-time delivery, safety, and budget adherence while coordinating with field teams and executives.

You will own P&L, manage client relationships, mentor Project Managers, and drive strategic execution across multiple workstreams to maximize margins and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical construction, service operations, and project execution methodologies across multiple project types.
• Ability to adapt project management approach to different delivery models (lump sum, service work, negotiated work, mission critical environments).
• Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of large, complex projects or multiple concurrent projects/programs, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and financial objectives.
• Own and manage project or portfolio P&L performance, including budget development, forecasting, margin optimization, and financial risk management.
• Develop and implement project and program-level execution strategies across multiple workstreams.
• Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for clients and key stakeholders; build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Lead contract strategy and administration, including negotiation, risk evaluation, and resolution of complex change orders, claims, and disputes.
