Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, Electrical for Mission Critical Facilities (data centers). You will guide electrical design, mentor the team, and ensure quality from concept through delivery for technically challenging centers.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in data-center/mission-critical work, PE license, and proficiency with Autodesk tools (Revit, BIM 360) and power system software. Location-friendly within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree; PE license required.
• Minimum 10+ years in related industry; data center experience required.
• Experience with mission critical/data center design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist business development in new pursuits; input on RFPs/RFQs and participate in interviews.
• Manage technical project scope, schedule, and budget within own discipline; resolve inconsistencies with PM.
• Delegate tasks to project engineers and designers as appropriate.
• Follow QA/QC processes; conduct project reviews and approvals.
• Build client relations; articulate requirements, progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Leads technical discussions with stakeholders; coordinates with disciplines to integrate design.
