Job summary
Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an experienced MCF Electrical Project Designer/Engineer to advance data center electrical design under senior engineers. You will develop advanced systems within your discipline, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, review deliverables, and support QA/QC processes on technically challenging data center projects.
Candidates should have an accredited engineering degree, 7+ years in the industry, and a PE license or similar certification.
Qualifications
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 7+ years related industry experience; datacenter experience preferred.
- Registered professional engineer (PE) license, or other professional certification based on area of expertise preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
- Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
- Prepares project deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.) per client scope and Stantec standards.
- Assists in evaluation and selection of electrical equipment; coordinates with all disciplines.
