Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Senior Project Engineer, Electrical, to guide electrical design for data center projects. You will mentor project engineers, drive quality throughout design, and ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards.

You’ll oversee multi-disciplinary collaboration, develop design guidance, and stay current with evolving data center requirements and technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10+ years related industry experience preferred.
• Mission critical / data center experience required.
• Registered professional engineer (PE) license or other professional certification based on expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Supports and leads technical design for data center projects across disciplines.
• Mentors and directs junior staff and other project engineers.
• Ensures quality through design reviews and QA/QC processes.
• Builds strong client relations and communicates design requirements clearly.
• Coordinates with multiple disciplines to integrate design and client requests.
• Develops design guides, memos, and calculation templates for data centers.
