Job summary

Rosendin in San Jose, CA seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, and release of construction materials and electrical equipment on key projects. You will mentor buyers, develop procurement analytics, and ensure compliance with policies while coordinating with estimating, design, and site management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of electrical construction purchasing experience.
Strong knowledge of procurement policies and accounting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue bid invitations or RFPs including logistics and packaging.
Process complex purchasing transactions in compliance with laws and Rosendin policies.
Develop specifications with departments and draft RFPs.
Review purchases and justify non-low-bid awards.
Coordinate with vendors, inspection, and quality control to resolve issues.
Oversee purchasing from award to closeout and supervise buyers when needed.
Maintain procurement analytics and reporting.
