Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the United States seeks an experienced electrical engineering leader to head a group delivering multi-discipline electrical design for nuclear power projects. You will drive scope, deliverables, schedules, and client liaison across complex plant modifications.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical design for power plants, 3+ years in leadership, and an ABET-accredited BSEE. Strong communication and team mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE
• 10+ years in designing electrical systems for power plants
• 3+ years leading an engineering design group
• Experience selecting equipment and assembling design packages
• Experience liaising with clients in a lead engineering role
• Experience with electrical systems including LV/MV distribution

Responsibilities

• Lead the group to complete electrical engineering deliverables on time and within budget
• Define scope, deliverables, and track progress with clients and internal teams
• Oversee detailed design phases and interface with other disciplines
• Develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules for nuclear plant modifications
• Provide oversight on design changes, calculations, equipment specs and vendor questions
• Mentor the group and identify opportunities to grow client relationships
• Coordinate multi-discipline proposals and ensure client satisfaction
