Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior electrical engineering leader to head an experienced group on challenging reactor-related projects. You will guide multi-discipline coordination, develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules, and supervise design change packages, calculations, and procurement activities.

The role requires a BSEE from an ABET-accredited program, 10+ years in nuclear power plant electrical design, and at least 3 years leading a design team.

Qualifications

• A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience for nuclear power plants.
• 3+ years leading an engineering design group through all project phases.
• PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead group to complete electrical engineering deliverables meeting technical, quality, and budget expectations.
• Define scope, deliverables, and track progress; report status to client.
• Lead detailed design phases and interface with other disciplines.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex modifications.
• Provide supervision for design change packages, calculations, specifications, and procurement.
