Job summary
Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking a senior electrical engineering professional to lead design and commissioning oversight for power systems on high-profile projects. You will serve as the technical representative to project managers, QC managers, and site superintendents, ensuring design integrity and on-time delivery.
You will design intra- and inter-switchgear controls, site-wide sequences of operation, and protection schemes using PLC/RTAC controllers and IEC61850-based logics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license required or in process.
- 8+ years of engineering design experience in electrical power systems.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems.
- Design and develop site-wide SOO and oversee commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and review submittals to ensure conformance with design-build requirements.
- Develop safety interlock systems and system-wide automation using PLC/RTAC controllers.
- Create relay protection and IEC61850-based control logics and configurations.
