Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer III to lead engineering efforts on high-profile projects. You will mentor staff, oversee design across power, lighting, and auxiliary systems, and coordinate with architecture, structures, and mechanical trades.

You’ll review submittals, develop single-line diagrams, and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements. This role requires PE licensure and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences; typically 5+ years of engineering experience.
• On-site field experience strongly encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Supervise process coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and all electrical trades.
• Oversee the preparation of designs, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Oversee preparation of power system single-line diagrams and equipment elevations.
