Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks an Engineer III to lead senior-level engineering efforts on high-profile projects. You will mentor staff, oversee multi-discipline design, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role involves coordinating with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams, and potentially serving as Engineer of Record on select projects. You will develop power and lighting designs, prepare specifications, perform system analyses, and contribute to commissioning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and PE licensure.
Typically 5+ years of engineering experience, on-site field exposure encouraged.
Experience mentoring staff and coordinating multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee engineers, designers, and staff on projects or initiatives.
May serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
Supervise submittals, design coordination, and equipment reviews.
Coordinate electrical design with architectural, structural, mechanical, and trades.
Develop power, lighting, and auxiliary system designs and diagrams.
Prepare project specifications and sequences of operations.
Visit sites for field surveys and assess conditions.
Lead value engineering and coordinate with clients and vendors.
Generate documentation for commissioning and project closeout.
Resolve design conflicts and ensure compliance with codes.
