Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer with PE licensure and 8+ years of power systems design experience for lead technical oversight on large electrical projects. You will guide commissioning, provide field support, and coordinate with project managers, QC managers, and site superintendents.

You will design and review control systems, SOO, protection schemes, and relay logic while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to meet design-build requirements.

Qualifications

• <57>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license required.
• <57>Minimum 8+ years of engineering design experience in electrical power systems.
• <57>Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems.
• Design and develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO).
• Coordinate with vendors; review submittals and witness tests.
• Develop safety mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical interlock systems.
• Create system-wide automation using PLC or RTAC controllers; include load management and generation control.
• Define relay protection and IEC61850 logic for protection and control.
