Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a senior electrical engineer with 8+ years in design of electrical power systems to lead complex projects. You will design control systems, develop SOOs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with design-build requirements.

You will also provide field and commissioning support, oversee safety interlocks, and guide project teams including QC Managers and Site Superintendents. PE preferred, relocation and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of engineering design experience in electrical power systems.
• PE license required.
• Experience with electrical power systems including generators, transformers, motors, switch gear, protective relays, UPS, DRUPS, inverters, PV and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems.
• Design and develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO).
• Coordinate vendors and review submittals; witness tests to ensure conformity with design-build requirements.
• Develop safety interlock systems and system-wide automation using PLC or RTAC controllers.
• Develop relay protection and IEC61850-based control logics.
• Provide technical support to Project Manager, QC Managers and Site Superintendents.
